C-o-C certificate Appendix of the C-o-C certificate The certification of the system for verifying the consumer chain of forest products follows on from the certification of forests according to PEFC and proves the fact that the holder of this certificate has an established system for verifying the origin of wood raw materials and other forest products. The C-o-C system is implemented and certified in the Czech Republic according to the national technical document CFCS (Consumer chain of forest products) and applies to all entities that are involved in the chain of wood processing from its extraction to the sale of wood products to final consumers, as well as other forest products . The C-O-C certificate, like other certification systems, brings many benefits to the forest owner: – easier access to the wood products market, – improving the image of the entire wood processing sector, – promoting wood consumption and increasing its competitiveness against other materials, – ensuring product quality.
